The bull is coming closer to us on the Chimney Pond Trail in Baxter State Park. These pictures were taken at dusk with a simple point and shoot camera.
We were separated from the bull by a deep ravine on the side of the trail. We never approached the bull – he didn’t seem bothered by all the spectators.

I’ve heard they are pretty calm around people in Baxter, I think I need a road trip…
Yes, the moose in Baxter are used to people but never approach one and please keep a safe distance.
