Weekly Photo Challenge: Inside
Our male cat Baxter alerted us to a feline family living in our neighbor’s yard almost 2 weeks ago. We have not see this tiny kitten for almost a week so we worried that maybe she had not survived. But, she and her mother came for dinner tonight on our porch.
Baxter seems to enjoy watching them from inside the house. The feline family also seems interested in what is inside the house. Her mother’s gaze seems to pierce our souls.
We purchased a Havahart® Large 1-Door Easy Set® Trap today and now need to come up with a plan to Trap – Neuter – Return.

they are gorgeous…so glad to hear they are still around
We are trying to do whatever we can to help this family.
So sweet and yet so sad a tale…
Hopefully, this tale will eventually have a happy ending.
Another great shot Terri, what a beautiful kitten! If the trap doesn’t work I’ve got an extra tennis racket you can borrow…
So, NOT funny sister!

Lovely shots – I’m sure these cats appreciate your hospitality.
Unfortunately, sometimes when humans try to help animals we might wind up causing more grief. The food on our porch has attracted a mean tomcat into our area and he has been bothering this family.
They are adorable! So sweet. 🙂
I am glad you are doing what you can for them. Hope it turns out for the best.
We are trying our best – we will be visiting a local animal shelter on Saturday to get advice for trapping them.
