What a fantastic day for a hike! We were hiking in shorts and short sleeve shirts in the middle of November!
Follow the white blazes
A blue blaze trail led to Stony Man overlook. A parking lot was less than a quarter mile from this point so there were lots of noisy kids! The most dangerous wildlife that we saw this day were squirrels – they were everywhere!
We finished off a wonderful day of hiking by having lunch at Skyland Lodge!
