Weekly Photo Challenge: Friendship
We met Janice, Diane, and Teresa during our white water rafting trip down the Grand Canyon in 2010. This picture was taken on Day 4 of the trip. Teresa told us that Janice’s friend Shelley was suppose to come on this trip but she had died from a brain aneurysm last year. So, Teresa came in her place.

We had a fantastic campsite just below Lava Falls Rapid (8-10) on Day 6. Wiley (the head guide) said that were we having a captains dinner tonight and everyone had to wear a toga in order to be served.

wonderful! it must have been quite a challenge to come up with a toga when you’re on a white water rafting trip
Actually, we just used the bed sheet that was provided by the rafting company.

It was a truly wonderful trip! The rafting company does a great job of taking care of their clients.
Camping at a place that beautiful? That’s great.
It was magical… words can not describe the beauty in the Grand Canyon.
