We hiked this section on June 24, 2007.
We saw many deer on this hike. We came across a doe with her fawn right on the trail. She was making sure that we were no threat to her baby.

We saw the Tanner Ridge Cemetery on this hike. Many old tomb stones.
Python and Dirigo stopped to talk with thru-hiker, Grey Turtle and he was an interested guy. He said he was not sure he was going to do all of Maine or the Whites because of his physical abilities but he would see when he got there.
