Today we hiked with Rock Star in PA. We started on the Game Commission road.

The trail was nice and not very rocky compared to other hikes we have done in PA. We wore our blaze orange because we were hiking on the Game Commission land and we saw many hunters today.

The rocks got a little worse but our feet were holding up well. We spotted some pretty nice camp sites and stopped at one of them to take a short break.

At the break was a sign that said Black Swatara, which is a spring off on a side trail.

We crossed over some streams which were pretty muddy after all the rain we have gotten in the last week.
When we came to the intersection of the Sand Spring trail, which is the trail we took, we met many boy scouts. They told us that one boy twisted his ankle pretty bad and some of the leaders were carrying him down the side trail. One boy asked if Indigo was a rescue dog. I think at this point she was the one in need of rescue. Seriously, she did fine and the only thing that really got her, was the sharp rocks on the Sand Spring trail. The rocks really beat down our feet and it was wet in places so we had to go real slow.
