We hiked this section on August 22, 2007.
We met Cry baby whine ass and Hot Pink Leader at the trailhead at 10:30. Hot Pink Leader wanted to use her father' hiking sticks.

Short breaks were needed, as Python's knees & Dirigo's calves were still in pain from descending down Katahdin. Hiking in pain is no fun!
We crossed several bridges over beautiful streams. The streams were very clear but very cold.
Dirigo took a tumble off of a blog log. What a sight that was! How embarassing!
When we reached Katahdin Lake a sea plane was landing. Hot Pink Leader was pretty impressed and had to go over and look at it.
The ranger gave us a key to the canoes at Katahdin Lake. We put all 4 of us in one canoe, and paddled around the lake. What a beautiful lake!
