On Monday we hiked 4.7 miles in pouring rain with thunder and lightning on the Appalachian Trail.
We are praying to the Appalachian Trail gods for “No More Rain!”

Hope the rain gods listen to you.
On Monday, we had an 8.9 mile hike and the last 4.7 miles were in the POURING rain! We have lucked out the last 2 days because we finished hiking before the afternoon thunder storms started.
